Why store cabinets leave gaps

You measure the wall, order from a catalog, and still end up with a strip of filler at the end of the run. Stock cabinets come in 3 inch steps, so most walls do not come out even. The filler hides the gap and takes up space you could have used.

We design cabinets for your actual wall and build them to a sixteenth of an inch. A 3D rendering shows you the finished run before we cut anything.

What goes into each cabinet

A cabinet that looks the same on day one can age very differently. Ours have cabinet-grade plywood boxes and solid hardwood face frames joined with mortise and tenon, so frames stay square.

Drawers are dovetailed and run on Blum soft close undermount slides, with Blum hinges and Blum's lifetime warranty. The finish is catalyzed conversion varnish, which holds up better than house paint.

Cabinet pricing before you call

You want to know if this is in your range before you book. Custom cabinets run $500 to $1,200 or more per linear foot, and complex designs can pass $1,500. Vanities are $400 to $3,000, plus $200 to $1,000 for install.

Entertainment centers start around $1,200 and run to $4,000 or more, with large multi piece builds above $11,000. Your quote follows a free visit at your home.

Living through the install

A kitchen job is easier when you know what to expect. We start with a free visit and a 3D design for your approval. After approval, the build and install take 8 to 12 weeks.

On site we use HEPA dust extraction and protect your floors and surfaces. Diego Macias's crew is the same team from the first visit to the last door.

Yes. We build cabinets to fit your existing layout and walls. If you later want granite countertops or finish carpentry, the same team can handle those. Tell us at the free visit what you plan to keep, and we will draw the cabinets around it.

What do I get for $500 to $1,200 per linear foot?

You get cabinets drawn for your walls and built in our Murrieta shop from cabinet-grade plywood with solid hardwood face frames, dovetail drawers and Blum soft close hardware. Complex designs can pass $1,500 per linear foot. Door style, finish and detail all move the price.

Why do store bought cabinets need filler strips?

Stock cabinets come in 3 inch steps, so a wall that is not an exact multiple leaves a gap, and filler strips hide it. We build to a sixteenth of an inch for your actual wall length, so the run ends clean without lost space.

Will my family have to live in dust during the install?

We use HEPA dust extraction on site and protect your floors and surfaces. That keeps dust down while the cabinets go in. Raise any concerns about daily access or kids and pets at the visit, and we will plan the job with them in mind.
